WATCH: The Expendables 3 Trailer (feat. Wesley Snipes)

In 2010 and 2012 Sylvester Stallone gave us the Expendables 1 & 2, where a group of mercenaries work together to remove evil forces and restore overall justice. Both movies were filled with action and Stallone's traditional "tough guy" scenes.

This time in 'The Expendables 3', Stallone's crew of mercenaries will go against one of their own when he becomes ruthless and tries to destroy them.

Sadly, the trailer is more of a roll-call than a glimpse into the story line. But let's be real here, this is a typical old-fashioned action movie with lots of guns, fighting, and special effects. If that's your thing then this movie is right up your alley.

'The Expendables' will feature an all-star veteran cast including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wesley Snipes, Jet Li, and Mel Gibson and will hit theaters on August 15th, 2014.

Lupita Nyong'o is the New Face of Lancome!

Congratulations are in order! Actress and performer Lupita Nyong'o, known for her role in "12 Years a Slave", has just signed on to be the new face of Lancome.

This year has been huge for Lupita! 12 Years a Slave did very well at the Box Office; Lupita's role in the movie helped her win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. Her style and grace immediately became popular with the Hollywood crowd and she has landed several major projects as a result.

Of the Lancome contract Lupita says: I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved. I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself."

Her campaign with Lancome will premiere in September 2014.

TV: NeNe Leakes and Billy Dee Williams Confirmed for Dancing with the Stars

TV Personality NeNe Leakes and actor Billy Dee Williams have both been confirmed as the two latest additions for Season 18 of Dancing with the Stars.

Leakes and Williams joined the other DWTS personalities on Good Morning America to announce their participation on the show.

Other DWTS participants include: Meryl Davis and Charlie White (Sochi Olympians), Danica McKellar (from the Wonder Years), Drew Carey (Comedian), Diana Niyad (Swimmer), Candace Cameron ("Full House"), Cody Simpson (Australian Pop Star), and James Maslow (actor/singer).

Wow! That's a full cast. Random, but full. Can't wait to see who turns it out...

"50 Shades of Grey" Movie Sets a Release Date!

E.L. James' romantic/dramatic novel, "50 Shades of Grey" has finally secured a movie release date! The film adaptation is set for release on August 1, 2014. The book, originally published in June 2011, was an instant international hit; talks for a movie began shortly thereafter.

Sam Taylor-Johnson has been selected as the director, which is an interesting pick because she's only directed one feature film before this ("Nowhere Boy" released in 2009). It's not clear why they didn't pick a more established director, but it seems that they have a very strong and enthusiastic team.

The main cast has already been selected. Here are the following characters:

Armie Hammer as Christian Grey

Elizabeth Olsen as Anastasia Steele

Evan Rachel Wood as Kate Kavanagh

Michael Trevno as Jose Rodriguez

Visually the actors are a great fit for their characters, we'll see if they're truly able to live up to the story line. I was expecting to see an all-star cast, but "50 Shades of Grey" could be a great come up for these actors. This movie could either be a huge hit or a terrible flop!

Will you see the movie when it comes out? The book is mostly about sex, so it will be interesting to see how they can tastefully pull this one off.

Tamera Mowry & Tamar Braxton Land New Talk Show “The Real”

According to Deadline, a new panel talk show titled “The Real” has just been greenlighted for a summer trial run by Fox-owned stations.


We are hearing that the panelist for the daytime show will include Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai. Geared toward an ethic audience under 40, the series is set to cover daily fashion and lifestyle topics.

Tamera shared the good news with her Twitter followers, “Couldn’t wait to share this WOO-HOOOOO!!!!,” she wrote with an attached link to the original Deadline article.



“The Real” is eyeing an July 8th premiere.  Will you be watching?

LHHNY Cast Walks Off Set, Refuses to Film!

During a recent filming, half of the LHHNY cast walked off set due to contractual differences.

Production has already begun for the next season of Love and Hip Hop New York and all of the cast was called to show up for promotional filming. However, contract negotiations hadn't been met and half of the cast skipped the filming in protest.

For most of the cast the LHHNY contracts are seasonal, so they have to edit and make revisions before each new season. The production company failed to update everyone's contracts but still wanted them to participate in filming...basically, the cast would've been working for free! No ma'am Pam!

Hopefully they're able to work the kinks out so everyone can be happy. Nobody works for free!

LeToya Luckett and Damien Wayans Cast On New Season Of Single Ladies

One of my favorite summer guilty pleasures is coming back, but with a few changes.  LeToya Luckett has been cast in a recurring role in the upcoming third season of VH1′s “Single Ladies” this summer.


She will play Felicia Price, a mean and rigid founder and Senior Partner of Price Management, one of the most influential music management companies in the world.

Joining LeToya will be Damien Wayans who will play David Berenger, April’s (Charity Shea) main foil at Price Management — a masterful sycophant, and a slick manager on the Atlanta music scene.

I hope the changes will redeem the show! 

Aunt Viv Goes OFF On Wendy Williams!!

Janet Hubert, the original Aunt Viv from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, wrote a letter going IN on Wendy Williams.

In the letter Janet criticizes Wendy for being a bully to celebrities and she questions the sincerity of Wendy's tearful discussion on the death of Whitney Houston. If you watch the Wendy Williams Show, you will remember that Wendy was visibly upset as she spoke about Whitney Houston like they were close personal friends.

Long-time Wendy followers will remember how cruel and vicious Wendy had been to Whitney Houston in the past.

Janet explains that it's time for Whitney to stop her judgmental ways and shames Wendy for being making a mockery of other Black women's careers.

"...You crucified Whitney the whole time she was alive...How do you sleep at night knowing that you are one of the biggest bullies in the world disguised as HOT TOPICS?  Celebrities are not topics we are people, just like everyone else, we hurt and we hear and we bleed real blood, not fake blood, just as you do.

How do we as parents teach our children to honor each other, treat each other with kindness when all they see are images of people like you who condone and promote meanness, rude reality TV stars, and  your opinion as you berate world renowned people like Janet Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and others you slam on a daily basis."

Nick Cannon Quits NY Radio Show

Nick Carey Cannon has announced that he will be ending his morning radio show, "Rolling with Nick Cannon" on 92.3 NY due to significant health problems. He was warned by his doctors that if he didn't slow down then "it's a wrap!"

2012 has been a hard year on Nick who experienced kidney failure in January and has now suffered from several blood clots and an enlarged ventricle. Nick's doctors recommended that he cut back on his workload; the stress has proven to be too much for his body.

It's great that Nick is taking care of himself.

A Sequel to "The Best Man" Has been CONFIRMED!

Finally! Malcolm D. Lee, writer and director of the first movie has announced that a sequel to 1999 film "The Best Man" is in the works.

In case you don't remember, "The Best Man" was about a writer (Taye Diggs) who was best man to his friend from college (Morris Chestnut) and finds himself in deep trouble when the stories from his upcoming book hit a little too close to home.

Malcolm Lee explained that the idea for a sequel developed during a cast reunion dinner earlier this year. Take a look at the reunion pic:

Universal Pictures has approved the project and Lee will once again act as writer, director, and producer. He currently plans to reprise the original characters' roles, which means that you will get to see more of Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, and more.

We are definitely excited about a sequel and can't wait to see these actors together again. How do you feel about a sequel so long after the original movie came out?

By now you probably know that Ray-J and Fab got into a fight at the club. We're still not clear on what it was all about! But all you need to know is that blows were thrown and Ray-J punched Fabolous in the face!

And what the heck is 50 Cent doing there?! Do all of the has-beens roll together?

We didn't want to believe the rumor but it's obviously true! Guess you gotta stay relevant somehow...


UPDATE - it is now being said that the fight was mostly instigated by 50 Cent who encouraged Ray to confront Fab about their recent Twitter beef. You know alcohol and drama don't mix!!!We're really hoping that Ray grows up though, cuz that is REAL childish.

Nike's "Marty McFly" Shoe Sells for $37,500

Everyone has seen the cult classic Back to the Future! In Back to the Future II, Marty traveled to the year 2015 and was given a pair of shoes that would help him fly.

                        

Michael J. Fox, the man that played Marty McFly, has teamed with Nike to make the Marty McFly shoe. Proceeds of the shoe will go towards research for Parkinson's Disease (Fox suffers severely from this disease). Take a look at the ad:

Ebay is currently auctioning the shoes until September 18th. Some bids are already going as high as $75,000. Bad Boy rapper Tinie Tempah has bought the first pair of shoes which were auctioned off at $37,500. WOW!

We are in total support of Michael J. Fox's efforts to raise money and awareness towards this disease. The public response is pretty strong so we know they can easily raise millions. Good luck!

What?! Hill Harper Suffered from Thyroid Cancer!

Hill Harper, the sexy black actor, author, and personal friend to President Obama, is discussing his struggle with thyroid cancer.

He discovered the problem while filming Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls. He couldn't swallow and was later informed that he had cancer. Although he is now done with treatment and has had his thyroid removed, Hill wants to bring awareness to better health and life management skills.

In his book The Wealth Cure Hill describes his own experience but also offers advice to people who need help and have limited resources.

How did we miss this? Nobody seemed to know that he was suffering from cancer until after he'd been cured!

We Found Out Why TI Went Back to Jail!

We finally found out why the legal authorities sent T.I. back to jail! He'd been ordered to go straight to his halfway house upon release. But when T.I. got out he jumped in a tour bus full of family and friends. The authorities did NOT appreciate this!

Tip's attorney has declared that there is no federal law regarding what type of vehicle one must drive from prison to the halfway home and his client has not broken the law in any sort of way.

Welp...whatever the case may be, T.I. is going back in the locker until September 29th! See you then boo!

Alicia Keys Producing Broadway Play

Alicia Keys is set to co-produce the Broadway play “Stick Fly,” a comedy about an affluent black family that comes together for a weekend on Martha’s Vineyard, no word on if she’ll be in the play. 



Here's what Alicia says about the play:
“This is a story that everybody can relate to. I’m passionate about this play because it is so beautifully written and portrays Black America in a way that we don’t often get to see in entertainment. I know it will touch all audiences, who will find a piece of themselves somewhere inside this house.”




The play will offer previews in November, with an official opening December 8.

UPDATE: Nia Long Is Pregnant! We know Who The Father Is!!!!!

We broke the news yesterday that Nia Long was Pregnant with her second child!  We did some digging to find out who Nia is pregnant by.  She has been dating NBA player Ime Udoka.  Ime is a guard for the San Antonio Spurs and the two have been dating for about a year now.

Nia Long Pregnant With Second Child!!

The beautiful Nia Long was spotted vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico showing off her baby bump!  Doesn't she look cute???  Nia is 40 years old, and this will be her 2nd child.  Her son Massai Zhivago Dorsey II is now 10 years old.  

The DVD for her latest film Mooz-Lum hit the stores yesterday.
