Hill Harper, the sexy black actor, author, and personal friend to President Obama, is discussing his struggle with thyroid cancer.
He discovered the problem while filming Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls. He couldn't swallow and was later informed that he had cancer. Although he is now done with treatment and has had his thyroid removed, Hill wants to bring awareness to better health and life management skills.
In his book The Wealth Cure Hill describes his own experience but also offers advice to people who need help and have limited resources.
How did we miss this? Nobody seemed to know that he was suffering from cancer until after he'd been cured!
