Sources exclusively tell Page Six that hip hop’s royal couple plans to announce a 20-stadium US tour that will start in late June — and that it’s possible the couple could perform in New York on July 4.
The two recently wrapped individual tours that supported their latest albums: Jay closed out 52 dates for his “Magna Carta…Holy Grail” in January, while Bey wrapped her “Mrs. Carter Show” tour in March.
The couple has performed their hit single, “Drunk in Love,” together at a string of high-profile shows, including this year’s Grammy Awards, a DirecTV Super Bowl party and Beyoncé’s O2 Arena gig in London on Feb. 28.
So yeah, Drake has a new single. I'm still not completely clear on who told him to make it (was it a contracted song between Drake and a professional league?), but whatever. The song samples Lauryn Hill's classic hit "That Thing".

I don't love it. I know a lot of Drake Stans will drink the Kool-Aid just because it's him, but I'm not too impressed with the lyrics or the use of the Lauryn Hill sample. That's just me. I could be hating.

Jazmine Sullivan took to the stage at the KOKO Theater in London this weekend, where she performed tracks from her first two albums, 2008’s Fearless and 2010’s Love Me Back, and her own rendition of “Get Lucky” by Daft Puck and Pharrell Williams. Along with showing off those powerhouse vocals that we’ve so desperately missed, the 26-year-old soul star announced that her third studio project will drop later this year.
“I’m glad to be back guys,” she said as the crowd cheered. “It’s been awhile.”
Jazmine announced her departure from music industry back in January 2011. “I’m making an official announcement that I am taking a break from music. I’m trying to figure out who i am… w/out a mike, paper or pen,” she tweeted. “I promised myself that when it wasn’t fun anymore I wouldn’t do it. And here I am. I’m not saying I won’t ever sing again in my life becuz I don’t believe that. But in this moment… rt now… I got some things to figure out.”
In during the concert, Jazmin revealed that insecurities and an abusive relationship were also part of the reason she took a break from the spotlight. However, she ensured fans that’s she fully confident and ready to finish what she started.

The King of Pop has been dead for 5 years but he continues to lead in album sales! LA Reid, the genius behind Epic Records and other successful projects, has coordinated with producers to make a new MJ album that will be sure to top the charts again.
The album, using decades-old music from the vault, was created by mixing Michael's old vocals with newer tracks that the producers made, thus making a more contemporary sound.

Do you remember 90s R&B group Next? Well...... one of their members was accused of beating his wife while she was pregnant and getting forceful with his four-year-old daughter because she refused to kiss him on the mouth. As you would expect, the group member in question is responding to the allegations.
Tweet, the member who never sang lead, was recently accused of kicking his wife in the stomach while she was pregnant. Tweet, real name Raphael Brown, was also accused of grabbing his wife Juliette Gil-Brown by her back and punched her in the mouth. Gil-Brown went on to allege her husband showed his anger for their four-year old’s refusal to kiss him by shoving her into her car seat.
One of the other accusations was Brown liked to watch porn in front of his young children.
Brown was made aware of the allegations and responded via Instagram. He posted, “I have been made aware of the false allegations that have been made against me. The matter is being handled legally. Thank you to everyone who supports me. #love #my #life #bestlifeever”

Music executive Sylvia Rhone, who’s helped guide many of our favorite stars’ careers, including Nicki Minaj, Drake, Erykah Badu and Stevie Wonder, is now president of Epic Records. Rhone said to Billboard Magazine
that she was “honored” to be given the position. “What makes this
opportunity different from any other is my partnership with renowned
music executive L.A. Reid,” she said. “I’m looking forward to what I
think will be the finest chapter in my career.” Rhone had already worked at Epic alongside L.A. Reid and launched a joint venture with the label, Vested In Culture
(VIC) — Latin star Kat Dhalia is one of the stars on its roster.
Previous to her appointment at Epic, Rhone served as president of Universal Motown Records and was once the CEO and chairwoman of Entertainment Group. Her tenure at Electra was groundbreaking, as it was the first time an African American and woman held the prestigious title.
The film follows the turbulent life and career of James Brown. We get to see Brown go from a troubled youth in prison to the top of the charts in all of his free-spirited glory. Starring Chadwick Boseman as James Brown, the film also finds Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Craig Robinson and Jill Scott.

Well....there goes the bride?? Brandy has put her wedding plans with Ryan Press on indefinite hold.
Over the last couple of weeks, whispers circulated that Brandy and Ryan had called off their
engagement. Brandy hasn't been posting cute couple pics, and people were curious when he wasn’t present for Brandy’s 35th birthday party earlier this month. As it turns out, he was there, but he avoided cameras.
Unfortunately, it seems that the speculations have been confirmed. After Brandy attended the NAACP’s non-televised ceremony without her ring, a source close to the couple told TheYBF.com that the wedding is off–at least for now. Brandy and Ryan supposedly decided to take some time apart after they moved in together.
Reportedly the time apart is supposed to help them re-evaluate their relationship and whether they actually should get married. They haven’t completely ruled out the possibility of getting back together, but there’s word that Ryan was set up on a date recently.
Brandy and Ryan are supposedly are currently on good terms since he is still her manager.
Neither Brandy nor Ryan have commented on the status of their relationship.

Back in 2009 Rihanna almost
found herself in the middle of a bankruptcy case thanks to her
ex-accountant. Rih Rih filed a lawsuit against the accountant for gross
mismanagement and new legal documents reveal exactly how much money
Rihanna lost due to the money manager’s terrible fiscal decisions.
According to the legal documents, Rihanna’s former accountant mismanaged
her money so bad that she blew through nine million dollars in 2009 and
claims to have had no idea. At the beginning of 2009 she had $11 million in cash and by December of the same year, she only
had two million left. Needless to say, Rihanna was absolutely shocked
that she blew through that much money in a year. On top of mismanaging
millions of Rihanna’s money, her accountant failed to tell her that her
expenses had doubled in that year so she was seemingly left hung out to
dry.
In case you’re wondering how she squandered $9 million dollars, Rihanna says her accountant told her it was okay for
her to purchase a house valued at $7.5 million. She bought
the house and when she sold it, she lost $2 million in profits. As if
the mansion debacle weren’t enough, Rihanna also claims her 2009 tour
“Last Girl on Earth” was losing money left and right and was never
notified.
Although Rihanna was done wrong by her accountant, don’t feel bad for
her bank account because since 2009, she has built her fortune to the
amount of $43 million. That’s not bad for being nearly broke five years
earlier.

R&B crooner Syleena Johnson is back with a single featuring well-known singer Musiq Soulchild. "Feel the Fire" is a Caribbean-inspired song that has a different sound than what Syleena usually goes for, but it's a welcome change!
Chris Brown and Rihanna have called it quits. Chris did an interview on LA’s Power 106 radio
station today that’s set to air on April 1 and he was asked point
blank if he’s still dating Rihanna? Chris admitted: “Uh, no — that’s the
short answer.”
What doesn’t make sense is that during the interview Chris revealed
that he wrote a new song for Rihanna on his upcoming album. He said:
“I wrote a song for her called ‘Put It Up’ that we did
together,” he said. “It’s still in the pot of songs we have to pick
from. It may or may not make it, but you know, because she’s already on
it, it’s a strong possibility.”
Chris even talked about their dating life and how he keeps things fresh. He added:
“It’s still like we’re kids. I try not to be too grown
and be like, ‘Lets have candlelight dinner every night.’ I try to make
sure everything is fun. It has to be fun and it has to be genuine.”
Chris talks about the last time they saw each other:
“I plead the 5th. You know I didn’t lie to you man, I
just didn’t tell the truth. Man it has been a minute though, cuz I
haven’t had a chance to go out there on the tour yet. Cuz i’ve been
working, but I seen her right before she went out.”
Whether they are in love:
“Huh? I’m a lover, man. Definitely a lover.”
