2011 hasn't been very kind to Oprah Winfrey. Although she retired from her talk show in May with a record-breaking amount of viewers, Oprah's TV Network (OWN) and her website (Oprah.com) are quickly sinking in ratings.
Her website went from 5.1 Million visitors in May to 2.4 million visitors in July. In 2 months she lost more than half of her followers! Dang.
Oprah has laid off several of her employees and has even fired her CEO. Now she's revamping the website in hopes that a new look will bring back the number of viewers she had before her show went off the air in May.
She's teaming with staff from Facebook and Twitter for a revamp that will be more interactive.
Let's hope that Ope can get it together before it all comes crashing down...we are so surprised her other business failing so quickly!!!
