Roosevelt Hairston Jr., an attorney hired to represent the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, has been accused of stealing over $1.7 Million from the hospital over the course of 12 years.
Roosevelt is being charged with mail fraud, money laundering, and filing a fake tax return. The IRS discovered his financial irregularities when they conducted an audit.
Roosevelt stole the identity of an old friend and used a fake email address to launder the money into his personal accounts.
