In Tampa, Xavier Thomas, Sr. has been charged with stabbing his 6 year old son 20 times.
Police say that the boy was visiting his father's family at an apartment on New Year's Eve. While the family lit fireworks, Xavier took his son to a playground at the apartment complex.
20 minutes later when neither of them returned, the family started getting worried. Xavier returned, but without his son. When they asked him where the boy was, Xavier ran away.
The family began looking and found the little boy covered in blood at the playscape. His father had stabbed him!!! The child was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Police captured Xavier walking around about a mile from the apartment complex.
What in the world??? This guy must have some serious mental problems, who would stab a 6 year old child, let alone their OWN child!!
