Former NBA player Antoine Walker is done with his bankruptcy proceedings. Walker owed the government $12.7 million after having made a reported $110 million during his career in the NBA. He was discharged from bankruptcy by a federal judge last week.
One of the conditions of the case being discharged was Antoine Walker take a money management class, which he did March 16th. Walker is said to be ready to start over when it comes to his finances. Though the case is starting to wrap up, Walker is suing Evelyn for some money he allegedly gave to her under dubious terms. Apparently that money Antoine gave her, she used it to start her shoe store. She and Antoine were once engaged and trustees are now making attempts to retrieve $500,000 from Eveyln to settle all of Walker’s financial responsibilities. That case is still pending.
