You may recall that singer Fantasia Barrino has been dealing with some major legal issues. Her boyfriend, Antwaun Cook, is in a bitter divorce with his wife Paula, and Fantasia is in the middle of it!
Fantasia has been in court testifying on Antwaun's behalf. According to Paula, Antwaun cheated on her by beginning a relationship with Fantasia while they were still together.
In addition to that, Paula was suing her for breaking up their marriage. Fantasia claims Antwaun told her he was separated.
Due to a law in North Carolina, Antwaun's wife would have the right to sue Fantasia if they were still legally married when Fantasia began dating him, even if Fantasia didn't know.

But in court yesterday, it was revealed that Fantasia and Antwaun did not officially begin their relationship until after he was legally separated from his wife. Paula was trying to claim that they separated in 2010, but they actually split in 2009. Triflin!!
This is a huge milestone for Fantasia, Antwaun's separation means that she is free from wrongdoing. Paula may still try to sue, but she probably wouldn't get far.
Fantasia, why are you still messing with this man? He has lied to you, done so much grimey stuff behind your back, asked you to get an abortion, and still you stay??? YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS!
