Mother Sentenced to 10 Years for Hiding Her Son

Zinah Demaris Jennings, a 22 year old mother from Columbia, South Carolina, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for unlawfully withholding information on the whereabouts of her 18 month son, Amir.

This all began on Christmas Eve of 2011 when Zinah was involved in a car accident. When the police officer did a background check he found that both Zinah and Amir's names were listed in the Missing Person's directory.

When police asked where her son was, Zinah told several inconsistent stories and has refused to tell the truth about his location.

Zinah has been charged with unlawful conduct towards a child, and Amir still has not been found almost one year later.

Not sure where Zinah has Amir hidden, but we are praying that he is safe and well!
