According to Hellobeautiful, There have always been rumors about Aaliyah and Jay-Z, that she was actually the reason behind his and Dame Dash’s falling out, that she may have been his real first love prior to Beyonce, but the two ladies actually have more in common than just one man.
In Ginuwine’s opinion, “Aaliyah was in a class by herself. If you’re talking triple threat of a writer, singer and actress, that would probably be Beyonce. If Aaliyah were still here, she and Beyonce would be neck and neck.”
I think he's right! Aaliyah just had somehting about her that made her great! She was also way more down to earth.
