Joan Smalls has landed an Estee Lauder contract, making her one of the few models of color to ever do so. She has appeared in Gucci campaigns, covered magazines, and walked runways alongside Beyonce.
And now, the Black and Puerto Rican, 21-year-old, 5′10″ beauty has landed a contract with Estee Lauder.
Aerin Lauder, senior vice president and creative director, praised her saying, “Joan’s smile, warmth and positive energy are perfect for the Estée Lauder brand. She is a great addition to our global faces.”
