President Obama Says Operation "Iraqi Freedom" Is Done

Everybody has been taunting Obama, asking "When are you going to send the troops home?"

It seemed impossible that he'd be able to pull our troops out of the mess that our former president who shall remain nameless (George Bush) left for him to clean up. President Obama honored his word and did what he promised, which is much more than we can say for MOST politicians.

I appreciate Obama's speech. Really, I do. But my question is...why did we even do this in the first place??

How can you justify a battle for freedom in another country when there are so many people IN THE UNITED STATES that suffer from acts of terrorism and slavery everyday?

Why would you spend BILLIONS of dollars on a war only to put millions of Americans out of a job?
