Ah yes, the many faces of Solange. She's rocked everything from silky indian weaves to cropped cuts to big fros, and I am loving it! Solange is one of the few celebrity siblings that has done things her own way, unafraid of looking weird or crazy in the process.
While her famous sister Beyonce is off touring the world, being the face of Dereon, and making appearances with her celebrity husband Jay-Z, Solange has made a name for herself by releasing eclectic music albums and being a mother.
Now let's not get it twisted!!! I'm not saying that she's always on point. Goodness knows Solange has her moments when can look a H.A.M. Case in point:
But at least she's not afraid to take risks and do things her own way! Everyone thought things were over for her when she had her baby Daniel at such a young age, but she has proved that being a mother can be cool, fun, and hip. Most importantly, she's unafraid to take risks and it has paid off big.
Most recently, Solange has been spotted around the Hollywood circuit taking a stab at the 1's and 2's with regular gigs as a guest DJ. Word in the street is that she aint half bad! Peep the pics below to see "DJ Solange"
Although I do think Solange has a lot going for her, I think she only has the spot light even semi on her because of her sister. She might be doing some of her own things, but no doubt Beyonce has a huge hand in her sucess. I just don't think she would be any kind of successful if she was doing it solo
