According to Hellobeauitful, Rihanna has been officially appointed as the ambassador for tourism in hometown Barbados. Rihanna is reportedly very excited about her new position and says:
“Barbados is a place like no other and one of the reasons for this
is the spirit and national pride of our people,” said Rihanna. “I want
each and every visitor to this beautiful island to experience what makes
this destination different from all others and that is the spirit and
warmth of my fellow Barbadians.”
Rihanna will help to launch the partnership with a concert in Bridgetown in August to promote her current “Loud” tour.
Congrats Rihanna! I am surprised they didn't do this sooner.
