Lil Wayne Talks Politics

Wayne raps and sings, he has made appearances on ESPN to talk sports, and now Lil Wayne can add political commentator to his list. According to The Grio, Wayne sat down with VIBE magazine and shared his thoughts on the recent GOP debate that was held Monday night. The debate, which included the participation of Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, and Michele Bachmann, gained much attention because of its fiery exchanges between candidates, and addressed issues with immigration, the economy, and health care.
During one instance the debate moderator asked a hypothetical question asking what a young, uninsured American in a coma should do, "Society should just let him die?" Cheers were heard and some members in the audience shouted "Yes!"  SO SAD!!!
Wayne said, "I feel like as a people the most that we can do is better ourselves and learn. Then look at yourself and ask 'Am I the person they're talking about or am I not?' You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us."
Wayne also believes President Obama's race has a lot to do with Republicans opposition and even disrespectful views on the Commander-in-Chief's policies:
"I don't think I have to say that for everybody to know that,"
However, he did say understood people's frustrations with Obama's handling of the economy. Despite it all the he said he wasn't too shocked by the arguments made by the GOP candidates:
"You learn from what the right-wing is doing and you take something from it."

I wish more artist would talk politics.  We have hit  a very tough time in our country and most of their fans have been hit hard by the economy.  The least they can do is show they care about what's going on.

Go 'head Wayne!
