Barry Bonds begins his perjury trial today, eight years after testifying to a grand jury that he never knowingly took steroids or human growth hormone.
NBC News reports -
"The actual trial may not start for a week, but Monday the lawyers in the case will begin jury selection. Bonds is expected to be at the courthouse for the selection process.
On Monday, about 50 perspective jurors are expected to take questions from lawyers from both sides of the case. The jurors have already filled out a questionnaire, which will answer many of the issues the lawyers are interested in".
