Aretha Franklin confirmed that she has selected Halle Berry to portray her during an on-air interview with Wendy Williams on today’s show. She told Wendy:
“For the last four years we’ve been talking about that (biopic) and I have had a number of offers but unfortunately they were not good offers, Now, we have something on the table — all of the financing on one project. And the second project is in the process (writing things for me to approve) on the telefilm.”
Now..... Halle is a great actress, but really Aretha??? What about Jennifer Hudson someone more your style. Everyone wants Halle to play them in a film.
