He will go to prison for 2 years after 2011. Ja's next court appearance will be on Feb. 9, 2011 when the judge will decide when he should begin his sentence.
Ja opted out of trial because if found guilty, he would have received a 3 1/2 year minimum sentence! The judge told him "Because of your guilty plea here today, you'll have a record of having committed a violent felony [...] This is is a very serious matter."
Not to be mean, but this is the first news we've heard about Ja Rule in a LONG time. Why can't rappers keep it tight?? Don't they know that law enforcement has a vendetta against them!?
You cannot play with guns in New York cause there laws are one of the hardest in the country. Ja rule should habe learned from Plaxico Burres
