The Dream has been recently named Vice President of A&R at Def Jam Records.
The change in The-Dream’s professional life comes at the point in Def Jam’s legacy where they are trying to change with the times and The-Dream believes he can help Def Jam reach the heights they are pursuing. The-Dream spoke to RapRadar.com about his upcoming executive position, “I am committed as I have been previously to bringing the power of belief in the artist back to the forefront. I share a unique view of an artist and as well as the business of music. I, with the help of many others, have ran a successful business for the last five years in the midst of the ‘Digital Change.’”
The Dream will seek out and cultivate new talent while working with artists already on the Def Jam roster.
