We purposely didn't blog about the Troy Davis issue because there was so much news going out on the major news stations. But now that it has happened my heart is heavy! My heart is heavy not only because we lost an innocent soul, but also because it is more proof that our country has an ugly race issue that continues to fester.
According to Urbandaily, Davis’ lawyer stated, “Tonight the state of Georgia legally lynched an innocent man. Tonight I witnessed something tragic.” Many others agree and call his execution a miscarriage of justice. Here’s what some celebrities have been tweeting about his death…
