Kara DioGuardi Leaves American Idol

Yesterday, American Idol got another blow with the announcement that Kara DioGuardi, the judge that replaced Paula Abdul in its 8th season, will also be leaving the show.

This is the 3rd recent departure for 'Idol', with Simon Cowell being the first to jump ship and Ellen DeGeneres (who, by the way, wasn't even on the show for a full season) following not far behind. The only confirmed judge for season 10 is Randy Jackson, who has been on the show since since its launch in 2002. Here's the roster as it stands:

It looks like things are falling apart quickly for 'American Idol', a show that was wildly successful for several seasons but has in more recent times lost viewership.

What do you guys think of this news? I am not surprised, there were rumors that she's been trying to leave the show for a minute. Seems to me like everyone's gettin while the gettin is good...American Idol is sinking FAST!

I'm not even gonna lie, I only watch the auditions now. Well you know what they say...when you're on top there is nowhere to go but down....
